Friends

Where's the mormon cult's rush to help?

Yes, the mormon cult only takes money - it seldom, if ever gives.

The info is a few minutes into the report.

What we were protesting about is not important.

The route was agreed with the Met Police, we walked through a large multi-storey car park. The ground floor was filled with homeless families living in little houses they'd made out of bits of wood, cardboard, etc. Someone had even built a little two storey home.

This was my country and I didn't know stuff was so bad. It was a very sobering moment.

I think they only help anyone after have done "all they can do" to help themselves. In other words, get help from federal and state programs, charitable organizations including other churches, and then IF they are a good Mormon tithe payer the church will given them token help of the equivalent of buying one bag of groceries one time.

The question is, how do they tithe on zero $? Do they have to take 1/10 of any assistance they receive and tithe it to the Cult? So, let's say they receive $100 (for an easy number to use) of help during a month from various programs in the form of free/reduced cost food, etc. Does that mean they now need to go out and panhandle $11.11 so they can tithe? ($100 + $11.11 panhandling = $111.11 = tithe of $11.11)

of Utah is a mall? Another fine reminder of Mormon god's screwy priorities. How unsurprising that Mormon god is a capitalist who thinks that making rich people richer is the best way to make Zion even more amazing than it (supposedly) already is. Never mind the people living in storage units-- luxury apartments are what god wants for his headquarters.
