James Lipton of The Actor's Studio made a video to give advice to Mitt Romney on how to appear to be an authentic human being.

Of course the very idea that one Presidential candidate has to be coached to appear real is pretty funny in itself. Lipton's advice to viewers to freeze-frame a video of Romney laughing and then put their hand over his mouth to see that his eyes are not involved at all is telling. Romney pretends to a mirthful laugh when he is, in fact, not really happy.

Reminds me of my long-ago analysis of too many mormons as being guilty of the smile behind which no kindness lies.

I think mormonism has taught Romney to be divorced from his true feelings, and that a fake laugh is as good as a real laugh.

OMG, how embarrassing for MR. That's gotta hurt worse than any of the anti-Mormon stuff.
