what if the fall out from leaving the mormon church did not exist with family and friends. how many of the 14mm members they claim would still be around?

I would guess maybe 500,000 who would delude themselves into think they are the most elect and will rule over all of us in the next life.

I've wondered the same thing. If everyone who was pretending because of a spouse or parent or for business reasons left, what would we be left with then? What if you didn't have to fear your children being shunned or the loss of your closest friends? If all of us who are inactive didn't let them try to make us feel bad or guilty but were irritatingly unashamed of our coffee or tattoos or grocery shopping on Sunday and happy without letting their opinions about our changed beliefs matter. Or better, what if everyone who didn't believe but were afraid to leave because they might be wrong or their kids might do drugs or any other fear-based reason for staying...what if they left?

Considering the fact 65% leave on sheer integrity alone, the numbers would plummet if all the people who want to leave but are emotionally forced to stay would go.
