Jaredsbrother....no...no calls as of yet....don't know if there are any Lethbridge area or southern Alberta Moridor TBM lurkers/tattlers on here. I know a lot of Mormons in this area. My Dad, Leland Burr, was very prominent in the church, and in agriculture, so many know me too.....I will certainly report on any contact made....and should anybody think they need to rat me out.....bring it on...I fear no Mormon!!!

Nice isn't it, fearless living.

Likely, he/she was a senior mishie trained to track "lost sheep."

The church has at least one huge call center manned by these creepy TBM codger characters.

It's foolish for anyone to give out personal information on the phone to strangers who make claims from being from a church or whatever.

Fidget...you're correct...none yet....I look forward to them....and if the caller has any balls, they'll engage in debate...but I won't hold my breath on that one. And Cheryl, this old guy told me the HP's have taken on the responsibility of bringing back inactive members...and I'm his....whatever. I have helped this person out in the past get his crop in, as I still have farm equipment, and a clue as to what to do...and he doesn't....but that relationship ended a few years ago...so I figure I'll outlive the old bastard....I'm 64 and he's 86 or thereabouts....and I've got a very thick skin when it comes to him...

Cheryl, he's one of those TBM's that can't fathom why someone would walk away from the church. It just doesn't compute with him and most ardent TBM's......and I just don't care anymore. He asks for my advise regarding his farm....and then doesn't act on it...so I'm done with him.

Your dads name really sounds familiar to me. I wouldn't surprise me if your dad knew my dad.

My father ran a church farm and was heavily involved in them for years.

My family farmed in the McNally district just S.E. of Lehtbridge from 1928 until 1976 and east of Stirling from 1960 -1980. Dad was a cattleman all his life and a real cowboy in his teens and early 20's south of Raymond. You Dad's first name wouldn't be Bryce would it?

No, not Bryce. I would say, but not quite ready to out myself. There are boat loads of mormons that would recognize his first name because it's so unusual. My parents are retired, but still living.

I left the church 9 months ago. I have a huge family that doesn't know yet. I have some loose ends to tie up, then i'll be completely out. I'm looking forward to that day.

I had my name removed long ago.
I guess I no longer qualify for such efforts.

You must stop by sometime...

Yes, my Dad was born in Raymond in 1910 and knew the Bridge family very well. Are you related to them?
