In mormonism, some words and phrases mean different things than you might think
Prophet, seer and revelator - GBH version, "They sustain me as one"
Prophet, seer and revelator - Modern prophet version means that I believe JS. That's all I got.
Word of Wisdom "not by constraint" actually now means, by constraint.
Masturbation - means in the mormon world, a sin next to murder.
Sacrament - used to mean bread and wine, now means bread and water
2 earings in one ear - used to mean, whatever, no biggie, who cares, to means, you are in open rebellion to the prophet.
Historical mormon facts - means, anti mormon, or the ever popular - lies
White and delightsome - now means, "Pure and delightsome"
Lamanites - The Lamanites were the principle ancestors of the native Americans, now means - "among" the ancestors
Saturday - the day for chores and fun, means in mormonish - The day to get ready for Sunday. ie prepare talks, lesson, don't do anything after midnight Saturday.
Polygamy - used to be necessary for exaltation, now is never mentioned. Shhhh.
Blacks/Priesthood - Used to mean less valient in the preexistance - post 1978, never mentioned. Shhhh.
Bishop - used to mean the older man that asked teen boys and girls if they masturbate. Now, means the same things.
Man becoming a God - Used to mean that a man could become a God - now means, I don't believe we teach that.
Internet - is a vaste source of information, and to do banking and shopping - in mormonish means, porn.
A victim of rape - in mormonish means they are guilty and responsible.
An attractive women - walking porn.
A single or divorced woman - someone that will steal your husband.
Physical church service - means the church is too friggin cheap to pay anyone to do anything so get into the church bathrooms and scrub you peon.
