I'm interested in getting a group together to go see "Saturday's Voyeur 2012" next Wednesday the 8th of August or Thursday the 9th of August.

Hi Cr@ig! This is OT to your thread, but I wanted to ask....when I first found this forum you had just told your wife about your disbelief and her family was trying to get her to leave you...I remember being shocked that a family would try and break-up a marriage! (I have since learned not to be shocked!) She made you promise to stop coming here so you did for a while, but then came back.

Anyway, your story always resonated with me and I never heard the conclusion. Do you mind my asking if you were able to work it out with your wife? Is she still TBM?

:-) Life is good...my wife and I are happily married...both of us have reached a very tolerant/happy place in our lives. I consider myself a very lucky man to have gone through what I did and come out as an apostate and still very happy married man.

Things could not be better...well ok I still haven't been able to get her to allow a coffee machine on the kitchen counter...but a happy marriage is all about compromise.

So we'll go with Thursday? Who's willing to commit 100%

Tickets are normally $45-$55 each, but the theater will give us a discounted price of only $35/ticket. It takes place at the Salt Lake Acting Company, located at 168 West 500 North, SLC.

As you know, I have a thread over at PostMormon for the same thing. So, let's combine dates. Aug 9th sounds great. I've arranged for us to have the Green Room before the show so we can socialize.

Also, I have arranged with the theater to group all of our seats together. I didn't know how many to hold, so I held 14 seats, but there are more available if need be.

How were you thinking of organizing everyone getting tickets? If you want, we can just have everyone call the theater themselves at (801) 363-7522, and tell them that their with the postmormon group -- or your group if you've already arranged for one -- and they'll get both the $35 tickets and will be grouped together with everyone else.

Does that sound OK to you?

OK. Here's the details...call Cynthia, one of the executive producers at Salt Lake Acting Company 801-363-7522. She's holding 14 tickets right now (although more are available) for us. What you need to do is call the Salt Lake Acting Company by this coming Tuesday, and tell them that you are with the "Postmormon" group. They will then give you a discounted price of $35/ticket. We also have the Green Room downstairs reserved for us, so come early and socialize! The date is Thursday, August 9th

As of six p.m. tonight, there were six tickets remaining of the original 14 AmberAle had set aside... My compliments; they look like marvelous seats, and the hospitality room is an added bonus...

I also asked about snacks, hors d'oeuvres, wine, etc. and he said we were responsibile for bringing our own... So it looks like pot luck, so let's all pitch in, okay?

Are you speaking of the terrible play that shall not be named? When I was eleven I played Emily for 9 months - 3 months at Provo High and 6 months at South High School. I can still sing all the songs even though it's been 37 years! My parents like to show the video to my daughter to show her that I wasn't always this evil.
