Sorry this is kind of O/T, but one year ago today marks the date that I met a fellow apostate in the library at BYU. It has been a wonderful year and we are still a happy couple! :)
I actually started a thread once asking whether any relationships started here and it was taken down pretty fast. In retrospect I can see why. A largely anonymous chat board is not exactly the best place for a dating service.
Details, please - I've heard about internet romances, but have been skeptical. Did you exchange emails, then phone #s, etc.? How long before you decided to meet and how scary was that? (Scary in the sense that you might be disappointed, etc.).
Yes, we exchanged e-mails for about 3 days before making the ballsy decision to meet in person. It was scary at first, but as soon as we started talking, we both knew it was safe. :)
Yeah. It was pretty obvious that ymountain wasn't an honor code spy. And I have to admit I was hoping that she was hot. So glad I was not disappointed there.
