Doesn't the church have a poster showing 100% of their talks are about Jesus? Or maybe that's because at the end of every talk they say inthenameofJesusChristamen. This is what they mean by talking about Jesus... that and his name appears in the official name of the church.

Talking about Jesus doesn't generate $$'s.

And none of it is about Jesus anyway. It's about the worship of the Big 15 and the social status conferred on "good Mormons".

I really thought they would talk about Jesus this time because they would (delusionally) believe that all eyes were on this conference, with Mitt running for president. I thought they'd want to appear more mainstream and normal. But I guess they have no clue how to do that.

Packers talk was good if you want to hear about Jesus. This is typical when a GA gets close to the end of their lives. They then begin to recognize what is important doctrine. McConkie did the same this as did some of the others.

Yeah, I think most of us were wrong. I personally thought they'd be talking more about Jesus too.

Talking about Jesus and preaching Jesus are two different things. They do a little of the first but never the second.

They read RFM. They weren't about to do anything that us heathens thought they might do.

In that case, there is no way they would give all of us a full tithing refund.
