First I would like clarification on a couple of points you make:
"I just think you resort to personal attacks too easily. If calling me an idiot makes you feel better about yourself, go ahead." Where, exactly did I call you an idiot? I said that people that believe a certain logical fallacy are idiots then ASKED you if you were such a person. The only way I would have considered you an idiot is if you had said "yes" thus admitting to being such. That, of course, is not at all the same as calling you an idiot. Your misrepresentations of what I say to protect your belief in God is so characteristic of people that believe in God that it is one of the reasons I do not care for people that believe in God. I see no reason for you to misrepresent what I have said in such a way except for you to push your version of what God is on me.
"However, I don't think that every individual who expresses a belief in God is supporting those institutions. " So, what you are saying here is that a very few people may not support those institutions, (of course that does not mean they are not forcing their beliefs on me as individuals) that I should excuse the very vast, overwhelming majority of people that do. Why should I let such a small minority excuse and deflect the criticism of such a large overwhelming majority? So, tell me, lovesmyreligion, what percentage, exactly, would it take before I can be critical of the belief in God because the believers in God are pushed their belief in god on me? How about 90% of believers either supporting the idea or forcing God on me? I mean really why should 10% excuse the 90%? 95%? 99.9%, what percentage, exactly?
"I think you're hurting your own credibility by attacking other posters. It's unfortunate because you also make some good points." No, your misrepresentations of what I have said have hurt your credibility. You are letting your misrepresentations of what I have to say cloud your judgment. It is not so unfortunate because I have yet to see you make a logically valid argument to support your views.
Again, I never called you an idiot, you blast me as if I had, shame on you and your God that allows you to try to force your views on me by twisting and distorting what I have said.
And if you seriously want to see personal attacks, you should read the thread and see what was directed directly at me. Supporters of the belief in God should be ashamed.

Its real easy for folks who haven't been victimized over and over again by religious zealots to step back and say to those who have "Aren't you over-reacting a bit?"
Good chritians, mormons, whatever, don't pull the "Yes" lever on state measures designed to deny certain people the same rights they (good christians, mormons, whatever) freely enjoy. The same goodly folks don't stand idly by and watch it happen either.
So how does a measure like Prop H8 pass?
Because these good people of deep religious leanings do pull the "Yes" lever on state measures designed to deny certain people the same rights they freely enjoy and those who don't stand idly by and watch it happen.
The actual good ones represent a mere handful at best. I personally doubt they even exist.
Kinda hard, lovesmyreligion, to adopt a live and let live attitude when the folks who preach peace and love in the name of JuHEEsus are constantly stabbing you in the back.
But I do like how you avoided the questions I asked and got all snarky and sarcastic. Why is that, afraid of the answers? Afraid to look at your own views and bad behaviors?

But changing passion to hate would be an ideal moniker for you. But I am glad to see that you are admitting that there is nothing about you that is about love.

But love, bwhahahahahahahaha. You can't even live up to what you claim is your religion. Hate from hypocrites like you is a dime a dozen, churches are full of them every sunday.
For a Guy that has "lovesmyreligion" as a moniker to say "I don't have any views about God." seems to be quite contradictory. And you are talking about MY lack of credibility.

Believing in love doesn't mean I love everyone. That's nice that you want me to talk to you all sweet and lovingly - really, I'm flattered - but I'm already with someone else.
Gotcha, You love when you want and it is convenient, but not when you do not want to. What a great religion you have, you claim love is your religion but you don't actually have to love. Nice.
Hypocrite. But not any different than the hypocrites that hate while claiming to spread the love of Jesus.
And not all surprising given the lack of love you have shown in your comments.

That is my point, you claim love is your religion, but you do not actually love. All your love is fake. I mean if you actually ever show love, that is.
