Sue Emmett is a great lady - I've had the privilege of meeting and socializing with her in person at exmo conference (as well as her daughter). Sue runs the ex-mo conference in SLC every year.
She takes a hit in her Mormon Royalty/TBM family for being a vocal activist for ex/post Mormons. Most of us are not that publicly brave about our new beliefs. More power to Sue.
It takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to stand up for truth when loved ones are so quick to judge and shun.
Great article. I have always been so impressed with Sue and everything she said is right on the money. Ruth Todd is a total tool and stooge for the church and Mormon royalty herself. Like the average Mormon woman's life resembles here in any way--I think not. She is a sorry excuse of a 21st century woman if she thinks women have any kind of equality in the frame of Mormonism.
