I was looking at the city council web page of a morridor city, and one of the council members is an employee of TSCC. His title? "Offshore Sourcing Relationship Manager." I kid you not.

http://www.centervilleut.net/government.citycouncil.html (scroll down to the third council member)

I'm willing to bet 50 boxes of green jello that no other religion in the world directly employs someone as its "offshore sourcing relationship manager."

TBMs, are you sure the church isn't a business?

I don't think that any church should have a position like that. however, it wouldn't surprise me if the Catholic church had something like that. They are 10 times what the mormons are.

Well, he has a degree in Mandarin. Maybe his job includes negotiating with Chinese businesses for all the granite they are buying for the temples. Have you noticed how they are giving some of them (e.g., Boise, Cardston) a face lift now with granite imported from China?

"offshore sourcing relationship manager"

WTF is that? I could come up with ideas as it relates to the business world but to a church? TSCC is a unique hybrid. It manages to be a world corporation at the top while being a fanatical cult at the bottom. Years from now there will be books written on this.
