Well, here is the proof they were Nephites. They attended General Conference:
"They said the deformation of human skulls was part of an ancient ritual that took place 1,000 years ago. The deformation was achieved by binding a person’s head between two blocks of wood to apply pressure on the skull by wrapping the wood with bands."
Alien skulls, eh? One of the posters made a valid point. What alien skulls are we comparing them to? Are there experts in alien anatomy? Can you get a degree in that? (maybe at BYU)
..early morning seminary students that is. Note the following comment from the article,
"They said the deformation of human skulls was part of an ancient ritual that took place 1,000 years ago. The deformation was achieved by binding a person’s head between two blocks of wood to apply pressure on the skull by wrapping the wood with bands."
I was a four year LDS seminary student while in High School. The boring meeting met 5 days a week at 5:15am effing o'clock in the morning. I often felt like placing my head in between two blocks of wood w/ bands - due to the boredom. Yep', those are seminary students for ssure.
Ah, the glories of having Utah ideas forced upon someone not actually living in Utah. I hated early morning seminary. It was a cruel invention, made by church leaders, whose own children and grandchildren would never, ever, have to attend it.
