No, but I keep hitting the "turn the page" toggle while reading with one hand and eating/drinking with the other. I didn't have the problem with real books.
It must be a good read because I just checked 3 different library systems in my area, and every single copy is checked out except for the CD versions. I am always up for another read on future dystopia systems that cause us to think about our own existence. I just finished Snowcrash, and I highly recommend it.
I've been cheap. I browse for titles by lowest price and I've found plenty to read for free.
The down side is that a lot of the free titles are "Christian Fiction". Not sure, but I think they are written as missionary efforts. Some have been OK but others are kind of frightening. I just finished one called LAST LIGHT that I had a hard time getting through. In fact, I left it twice for other titles but kept coming back to it. Kind of like a nasty car wreck and you just have to look.
It was filled with rigidly two dimensional characters who were only too happy to spout the party line as rabid Christians. The story is a very mild variation on the End of Technology theme. If anybody else has read it I'd love to discuss it.
