Early 1970s Muscle cars(Firebird, Camero, Satalites, Challengers, gto, Chargers, Roadrunners etc.) I like music from all eras if it isn't crap. Cream, Zepplin, The Guess Who, and The Chili Peppers are in my player right now.
Ha! How old am I? My favourite era for cars and rock & roll was the mid-to-late 50s... all those chromed-up big-ass Buicks and Oldsmobiles, sleek and sexy Fords and Chevs... Elvis and Pat ruled the music scene, but I also loved to hear LaVern Baker, Sarah Vaughan, Clyde McPhatter, Fats Domino, etc.
Hell, even Country & Western sounded good back then...
1947 Willys Jeeps and the Samples, a 90s alternative band from (horrors) Boulder, Colorado (where I went to grad school, please don't hold it against me...).

Late sixties--I had a 1968 GTO with a 400 engine and "Hydramatic" transmission. Screaming burnouts through all three forward gears. Cruising speed 90mph. Cream: In a White Room. Led Zepplin: Communication Breakdown. Black Sabbath: Paranoid. Deep Purple: Highway Star. Pink Floyd: Astronomy Domine. The Beatles: Helter Skelter.
