TSCC will require from you to pay the following: You have to pay 10% of all your income - before taxes You have to pay A GENEROUS fast offering on fast sunday - Not fasting one day? - that's ok, you can still pay your offering You can also give to the missionary fund Book of Mormon fund (what is this?) Humanitarian aid Temple construction (wait, I thought this was paid with tithing) Perpetual education fund (mmm, isn't this a fund that revolves?)
Wow, that is not only my 10%... I can see a lot of GREED here. It even reminds me of the taxes we have to pay to the government.
Blessings are promised, but I have seen many poor people in the many wards I have attended trough the years. For those of you who don't know, Utah has one of the highest rates of bankruptcy.
THE BOOK OF MORMON Moromon CHAPTER 8 32. Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be churches built up that shall say: Come unto me, and for your money you shall be forgiven of your sins.
Agreed. My family pays and pays...and just gets by each month. And yet my TBM wife insists we "are richly blessed" and goes into a rage any time I comment on how much money TSCC takes. They definitely use family pressure to compel "voluntary giving." Voluntary? No way.
