Local (SLC) news, NFL games, and the GC

Yesterday I was watching football on Fox and at half time, they had a small news cast where they talked about the ongoing GC and what BKP said about Gays and getting gay mormons back to church. He was very typical mormon and anti-gay which made news in Utah for a prominent mormon apostle to speak out about a contraversial subject like hmoosexuality and rights etc..

I was watchiong the NBC nite game which the local affiliate here in SLC is owned by the church (KSL). Their news people break in during a commercial break in that game to talk about the GC the messages of "Faith, Love, and hope".

Too funny...imo. While gay rights is a hot-button issues...the KSL NEWS program completely ignored that aspect....
