Whoo! Whoo! Turns out that the current Rome Mission president, Jet Blue guy Thomas Kelly, is being replaced by everyone's favorite theocrat, Michael Waddoups. Who knows that he won't be our secret weapon to help bring down the church, at least in Italy. I don't know much about him, but I understand that he's anything but well-liked.

Please note, if you have not already done so, that the select mission president opportunities such as Rome are very like US ambassadorships, generally given out only to the wealthy and influential, probably as a reward for bringing in cash or influence or both.
