I'm going to make it to one of these before I move. We have a lease on this house until October so I have to stay in this TBM hellhole until then.

yah but the one great thing about this TBM Hell hole (Utah county) is that it has the most sympathetic and understanding ex mormon back lash!

The ex Mormon community in Utah is better than about anywhere else.

yes, you should take advantage of that one perk while you have to suffer with living in Utah.

that's true! I live in Ogden. That is one thing I will sort of miss about living here is the exmo's. I tried explaining to my bf about Mormonism and how it's a cult. He is completely non-religious and has never been able to grasp how hard being an ex-mo is. When I told him my dad wanted me to attend church again, he said "well, what's the big deal, just go!" *facepalm*

What do you talk about at these meetings? How do they go exactly? I live in South SL. I am thinking about heading out there in the morning. I think it's awesome that you guys do this.

We just sit around the table and talk about whatever. A lot of people get coffee - a lot don't - some buy breakfast.

We usually just end up chatting with whoever we end up sitting by. It's very informal. Often we ask about people's story of how they got out of the church and what their current situation is.
