I think the thing that surprised me the most was the OBVIOUS lack of garmies on Anne. She was wearing a lace top and the body of the top was lined, but the arms were bare under the lace. Not a garment line to be seen! I almost feel like I was watching Mormon Porn, because I could see almost all the way up to her shoulders!LOL

Did I miss a "cover up" in this matter? Does she have inviso-garments?

Ann is very speshul. Didn't you know? She doesn't have to follow the mormon roolz.

but I've noticed the very obvious mormon newscasters with tops on that showed they obviously did not have on garments here in Utah, too.

Ann--she just makes me nauseous. If I already didn't like Mitt--she just sealed the deal.

Inflatable garmies that only unfurl when Satan is near?

Because she and Mitt have been 2nd anointed, they can now do as they please. Their donations to LDS Inc. means they can do whatever the hell they want when it comes to those petty rules that the Mormon plebes must follow.

I can't quite figure out why exactly he is doing the talkshow circuit. Is it:
- He is a pompous egomaniac?
- He is still interested in politics?
- His son is interested in politics?

Honestly I can't think of anyone but Ann, Tagg and my Mormon extended family that was truly excited by his candidacy

I think they miss the limelight. It is infectious, the attention. Plus, maybe he thinks he can run for a senate seat someday. Orrin Hatch is in his last term, Mitt just bought a house in Utah, maybe he's thinking of buying a senate seat?

He won't have to buy it; he would be a shoo-in. He would be the come-back kid for Utah Republicans.

These gigs (Leno, etc.) don't just "happen." No Leno producer is sitting around thinking, "I know, let's get Mitt!"

Romney's publicist is working it hard. They are pitching him likely ten times for every time he appears.

He definitely has plans.

I think it's very possible that Leno's producer thought, "I know, let's get Mitt!" Or it may have been Leno's idea and the producer just has to "make it so".

IMO, he and Ann felt that the presidency was his destiny. I even think they thought he was fulfilling the white horse prophecy. Talk about a Messiah complex.

Of course, it didn't work out. Amazingly, the American electorate somehow wised up. I still shake my head in wonder that the electorate that is usually so simple-minded and silly, actually did the right thing. Dh thinks it's because Romney is just so darn unlikable. Had he seemed like a nice guy to have a beer with, he probably would have won. But, ultimately, only other Mormons seemed to like him. Even fellow conservatives didn't seem to like him much.

It's hard for me to imagine that a senate seat from Utah has much appeal for him. He didn't seem to want the presidency because he likes policy-making or governing. He seemed to want the presidency because he had already done everything else and thought it was his birthright. Being governor of Massachusetts seems not to have interested him at all -- except as a stepping stone to running for president.

I will be very surprised if we see Romney run for any office ever again. He just does not seem at all interested in politics, people, governing, any of it.

As one commentator put it, Romney would have been a very maleable president. He'd have done anything the Republicans wanted -- as long as he got to use Air Force 1.

You've got the Romney ethos down pat: what the boy and the missus want is the prestige/status-affirmation, nothing more.

If it weren't for a satan-besotted electorate, we'd be enjoying the Romney Camelot right now.

Oh exactly. Mitt's been popping up recently and of course it's
no accident. He's testing the waters. His staff is shopping
him around. A substantial effort is being mounted to see if
his image can be repaired.

What exactly his ambitions are I couldn't say,
but clearly he wants back into public life.

The talk is the Republic Party sees him as toxic yet they can't
walk away from his fundraising prowess. Maybe. Ironically they
are perhaps the major impediment to his rehabilitation,
as blaming him is way more convenient for them than
accepting unpleasant other reasons.

Expect him to appear on talk shows and talking heads and so on.
He has time, money, connections, smarts, and nothing else
to do. And he wants back. Badly.

I'm not going to cry foul when someone decides not to wear their Gs. Let Ann wear what she wants. I'll cry foul when she puts herself up as an example and can't live the example herself.

I love to watch these people.

Everything I've seen Ann wear could have garments under. I've checked a couple dozen photos.

What is interesting is the toward a couple of people that are in the public eye by former LDS.
Not very non-judgmental .. but .. politics are like that I guess. It's all about love and hate as usual - polarizing.

Perhaps she opted for the alternative tattooed Masonic markings . . .
