Fellow Missionary from the 80's talking to me on Facebook about politics and then it went to religion.

"Him: So, what happened? I have many relatives who are hard-core atheists, been round and round with them on FB for months. Finally had to kick em' to the curb as it was a waste of my time and theirs.

Me:I found a lot of lies.

Him: There is not a single lie that I have not heard now, 28 years later, that I didn't 1st hear while in the OTM. The OTM is what educated me.

Me: Well, I'll ask question if you really want me to.

Him: I have served in many leadership and financial positions with in the church, and know personally 1 apostle and many others connected high up. My atheist relatives are all from Utah, and born and raised. They are bitter. I've learned there is NO MIDDLE GROUND when it comes to matters of TRUTH. Hence my severe disdain for our government, and what they've "DONE" to us. The Restored Gospel is the only thing to worth clinging to. Sorry you feel otherwise.

Why are mormons so angry?

Are his relatives actually bitter, or just sound bitter to his ears? I wonder.
