I thought it was like being the only sane person in an insane asylum. Eventually you begin to doubt your own sanity.
This. After I got over the outrage of finding out Mormonism was lying to me, the most profound feeling I had for years was "I was right - they are crazy and I'm not. I was right all along and they are wrong." That overwhelming sense I'd had for years that Mormon culture was bat-crap crazy was validated.
Like being the only fruit flavored jelly belly in with a box of popcorn flavored jelly bellies. Or the sunshine that peeks through the clouds. Or the ivory soap after the workout.

Well, that's not too bad. Being an ex moslem surrounded by moslems would most likely end in your death. So there are worse things.
