I wonder how Mormons account for reports like the following:
http://247wallst.com/2013/05/28/cities-where-suburban-poverty-is-skyrocketing/"Cities Where Suburban Poverty Is Skyrocketing"
"The number of poor people in U.S. suburbs rose by 63.6% between 2000 and 2011, from 10 million to well over 16 million people. For the first time, there are now more people living in poverty in the suburbs than in cities."
The top 10 cities with skyrocketing urban poverty are:
10. Detroit-Warren-Livonia, MI
9. Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI
8. Provo-Orem, UT
7. Boise City-Nampa, ID
6. Phoenix-Mesa-Glendale, AZ
5. Denver-Aurora-Broomfield, CO
4. Las Vegas-Paradise, NV
3. Salt Lake City, UT
2. Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos, TX
1. Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, GA
Two of the top 10 citues are in UT and and another 3 (Mesa, Boise, and Las Veagas) have significant Mormon populations.
