Portland Meetup - Oct. 9 - This Saturday

In the Shadow of the Temple
& In the Shadow of Kells Irish Pub

5th Ave. Cinema (510 SW Hall / Portland)

Meetup after at Kells Irish Pub.

Movie admission is FREE, but first-come first served.
Please arrive in plenty of time.

The Portland Humanist Film Festival this year includes a showing of "In the Shadow of the Temple" which is required viewing for all ex/post/wavering Mormons. Many have seen it already. It holds up well to seeing again.

Director Dennis Lavery and Producer Karen DiMilia will be in attendance. The movie is about an hour and there will be a 20 minute Q/A after.

We'll then head down to Kells Pub for more conversation and fun.
(112 Southwest 2nd Ave. / Reservations at 7:15 pm.)

Note #1: There are a number of interesting movies playing this weekend also for free, including "Letting Go of God" by Julia Sweeney and "Creation" about Charles Darwin. Great stuff. What a great town!

Note #2: Many great activities in October.
