I used to be in the YW presidency and I am still close with one of my girls, who is now in college. She doesn't know that I'm not in the church any more. Anyway, she just told me that she went to confess to the bishop. She is in a different state than her boyfriend and has been masturbating. What she then told me infuriated me. Her bishop read to her out of "The Miracle of Forgiveness" written by an apostle. It said that masturbation leads to homosexuality and is a serious sin. I was so upset and told her that is a huge lie. I also told her how every TBM girl I have been friends with has been traumatized by their wedding night because shit like this is ingrained into our heads! I'm so angry.

When I read about this in one of my first visits to this site, I did not believe it, so went to my copy of the M of F and there it was in black and white.
It is such a dumb, stupid statement and obviously not true. Another nail in the coffin for me........

Here is a brief bit of it:
