The cartoon is funny, thanks for posting it.

But to me one of the mysteries of Mormonism is that its lies aren't even comforting.

- you can have all the answers to life's questions and never be wrong

- you can be guaranteed happy in this life and forever

- you can know the future

- you can have or at least benefit from magical powers

- there's a super wonderful reward at the end

Guess I might see all those as comforting if they didn't require:

- All your discretionary time

- Your family's unquestioning devotion

- Everything The Lord has blessed you with or will bless you with

And if it didn't come with the promise that if you screw up, Stan will eat your children, devour your soul, and you'll be cast out forever.
