You don’t have to get very far into The Family: A Proclamation to the World until reality proves the proclamation to be false. For instance take the following statement:

“All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God….Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.”

Male and female are man made categories—categories to which a great many people fit, however, not all HUMAN BEINGS. The male is (XY) and the female (XX), some other chromosome combinations that occur in HUMAN BEINGS include: XXY, XXYY, XXXY, XYY, XO, XXX. But sex is not just determined by chromosomes, but also by complex hormonal washes at specific times during development. If these hormones do not go normally a HUMAN BEING can belong to some other sex category including but not limited to: hermaphrodites, male pseudohermaphrodites, female pseudohermaphrodites, gynandromorphic, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, progestin-induced virilisation, androgen insensitivity syndrome, 5-alpha-reductase deficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, persistent Müllerian duct syndrome, mosaicism, or chimerism.

Many would call these abnormalities, however this word carries far too many connotations and for the sake of this argument it is a moot point. If God exists, he/she/other created or at least allowed these HUMAN BEINGS to be born this way.

Now take Packer’s statement from the KSL article:

‘Some argue that “they were pre-set and cannot overcome what they feel are inborn tendencies toward the impure and unnatural, Not so! Why would our Heavenly Father do that to anyone? Remember he is our father.”’

Juxtapose the above factual data with Packer’s statement. Is it really that hard to imagine that if God exists he/she/other would create or allow to be created HUMAN BEINGS with pre-set homosexual preferences? If he is indeed our father why would he create intersexuals, but not homosexuals?

Society and especially religions do not like HUMAN BEINGS who do not fit into their man-made categories partially because it shows the fallibility and lack of inspiration in their design…Stupid Design.

Packer is supposed to be a prophet etc. etc. Why doens't he just ask him whats going on. Including the chromosome possiblilities.

that won't hold up to scrutiny. He is firm in his beliefs, which are accepted on faith.
Of course, he is not alone. Not just Mormons have a similar belief.
He is typical of human beings that cannot accept or tolerate other human beings that are different, which is very common throughout the history of humanity.
Will he change? No. Of course not.
Will human beings all be able to accept differences in others? Nope. Has not happened and will never happen.

Fortunately, there is a shift that is starting to take hold. That's a good sign.

There is something strange about the so-called offshoots of the Abraham religions, i.e. Christianity and Moslem religions with their many sects. What some scholars call the "God" religions.

Has anyone speculated why they are so very hungup on human sexuality and its many forms. I think the nastiest religions are the Monotheist ones - people make a big deal about the Pharoh Akhenaten being the first recorded monothesist - but he intiated bigotry and persecution against Egypts other gods. I no longer am a fan of Akhenaten - one of historys first recorded bigots.

Or is it just a male fear/hatred of women that we are dealing with. Homosexuality crosses the great chasm that these religions make between men and women.

I've asked about intersex persons and the momos never, ever, ever answer me!!! Why not? Because they CAN'T! They just keep acting as though hermaphrodites and the like don't exist!....or they believe they don't have souls. Or maybe they're like blacks in the 70s...to be servants in heaven...?


Packer also said that marriage that is not between a man and a woman is immoral...so apparently they can't get married either! It's so obvious to me that it's all total bull sh*t, but there are still so many who just can't see through the mist that "the spirit" has created.

If,indeed, Packer is a suppressed homosexual, then he has made the decision to be heterosexual, which proves that (in his own mind) it "is" a choice that he has made. It doesn't matter that he is a bitter, unhappy old man. It would be sad if not for the profound misery that he has inflicted on so many others.
