The worst is hearing your mom moaning from the back of the one-bedroom house where you live with three siblings. Looking at each other and wondering if mom is ok. Quietly crawling up the hallway hoping there isn't a burgler hurting mom, just to catch mom and dad doing the horizontal bogey. Then, crawling back to the one bedroom and looking at your two sibling sisters with furrowed brows wonderi

EB: There is no problem, unless you think there's a problem. If you think there's a problem, there is a problem. Be kind to your heart. Nude (from my prospective) women are beautiful. Even those with covered shoulders are pretty cute, too. I do, IMHO, believe porn creates an energy. It substitutes for something else. Not judging. Have seen it. Would rather live it than watch it. That

Bought a Kindle and the first book I'm reading is 1984. Really scary: "Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows." "Until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious." "How could you have a slogan like 'freedom is slavery' when the concept of f

Only trance is walking behind yoga pants. Just saying. I have found so much insight when reading Hindu ‘scripture.’ Demonic my derrière.

Lotteries are taxes on the poor and desperate. Winners are few. And just to keep the money coming in they parlay multi-million dollar payouts into ‘hope.’ This isn’t a moral issue to me. States have less need for being responsible when they can make up loses by gambling. Windfall.

Yeah, that does speak volumes. Treating a spouse (or any adult) from a parent to child style is not evidence of a healthy relationship or respectfull. More to the story...

Self-mastery. Whatever that means to you. Some kind of love in the soup, too.

Cliche: Life is short. Choose peace and serenity. Co-dependence, or at least tolerating endless angst, steals a person’s soul. On your deathbed, will you tell everyone life would have been better if only you’d had a little more of the same?

Let me know when. I want to be there. After your ‘testimony,’ I’ll meet you in the aisle with a high-five and hug. Let’s do it.

I feel your loss. If it were any of my brothers it would take more than four shots! My heart is with you. Cry a little. It may help. So sorry, my friend.

If there is a god, he/she/it would of necessity be pure love. No Abrahamic religion represents love. They are fear-based and full of hate and revenge. The heavenly messenger would be wrong. Don’t fall for the scam.

Absolutely. And they have. Without them I would be dead. Would I? Yes and have for one of my children. And I would for my neighbor.

When I was 12, really bad things happened in scouts. There was no one there. Not just me, others. No one to tell. After all, they were called of gawd to lead scouts. Right? So it must be ok. Right? Part of the initiation. Right? Gawd’s church. Right? Gawd wants this for you. Right? Just shut up and earn a merit badge. Three of the boys in scouting with me are in prison for murder. Didn

I love those with Down’s. Truly. What’s weird is they love me, too. Pretty much babies, those with Down’s and dogs are all that ever have. They are so innocent and open to abuse. This case, too?

My thoughts about Marriot? Have stayed in the Ritz Carlton. Not bad. The Marriot in Suzhou China was the cleanest and most peaceful place. Food was out of this world awesome. Staff were over the top attentive. Paid them GOOD tips. Wish I could live there. My only Marriot experience.

It doesn’t become that. It has always been. From pre-historic times. The better question is how does it stop? How do we all overlook differences and respect them? And doing that does not mean in return putting anyone in the same quarter as payback. It’s evolution of thought. Wisdom. It’s about raising everyone up.

For the OP: No era has been perfect. Having lived from the mid-50’s, life was so much simpler. Yeah, we had Viet Nam. The civil rights battle. Bay of pigs. Duck and cover. Anti-war protesting and other issues. However, there was a greater sense of trust and community. People, IMHO were less afraid and more likely accepting. As a kid, I would do my chores, grab my fishing pole and BB gun. S

I went through one of the so called courts of love. Almost ten years ago. Had some very painful difficulties and for some reason believed that going back to church was purposeful. I knew that things in my life weren’t square with tscc, so I told my bishop everything. In a certain way it really was cathartic. My bishop was a very, very decent man. Truly honorable. He wanted me to see the SP,

Thank you for sharing this, Amyjo. There are three things that are unacceptable to me in every way. None of them deserve mercy. One is violating children. That is pure evil. And trust me on this: it’s not just girls.....................

Not exactly the same, but going to see my Mom is similar. I have to announce I’m leaving knowing it will take another half hour while she searches the house for things to send home with me. I know this and recognize her need. Whether I want or need the items she sends is irrelevant. Her gifts are always accepted, even if the food (yeah, sweets) ends up going to my chickens. I love her and under
