151. Widows...
Try being DIVORCED. Widows are looked at with sympathy, divorced women with suspicion. IMO.

I'm watching the game out of the corner of my eye. I am not a sports fan, so I had never even heard of Wofford before. I did a little research and found it interesting that BYU has 34,000 students, while Wofford has 1,500. Yet, BYU is struggling to stay ahead by a couple of points. Go Terriers! (Number of students mentioned to note how many basketball players BYU must have had to choose from).

January 21 2011 at age 47. Received Dodge letter saying I was out one month later. No indication from anyone that they know I am out. My home teachers still come over, that is fine with me, I like them. One is my next door neighbor who rides a motorcycle and dresses in biker leather sometimes. Doesn't raise an eyebrow when I tell him he looks badass. He and his wife were sealed in the temple a co

And most of the people of the time were even less educated than he. As for the women, it was their lot in life to just plod along, obeying the men until they died in childbirth (with a few notable exceptions).

I was married the first time at 21 (he was still 20, but with a mental age of 16 I think). Not good. I was smart enough to not have any children until 25 though. Who knows HOW many he has these days! Men need to be older IMHO.

I'm considering attending a small Lutheran church, and I have only been to one Catholic mass and one Baptist sunday service (one year when my mom and I felt like attending church on Easter, which happened to be conference weekend). Other than that, it's been LDS all my life.

South Jordan. Have lived here off and on since '75. And I will forever have a hard time with Daybreak and the District being part of South Jordan.

> Anybody want to go on a serious diet? Yes. I'm on one. http://www.sparkpeople.com edited to add that there is 20 lbs less of me than at this time last year. You can live without alcohol, tobacco, drugs etc., but you can't live without food (for very long). I believe that losing weight and then maintaining that loss are THE hardest things to do.

Funny, I pictured her as an inbred looking Molly Mo. Actually, she looks somewhat like I did when 30 years younger.

167. Rarely.
And when I do, it's quite effective. And I don't care what they say, most men aren't that fond of potty-mouthed women (at least in public situations...). It's more fun to make words up anyway, use lots of consonants.

Contrary to my moniker, yes. At least for now anyway. One of the reasons for my resigning from TSCC is the fact that so much is made of Joseph Smith and the BOM, and not enough Jesus. I'm freshly "out", and I enjoy wearing a pretty blue gem cross now. And, I totally believe in an afterlife, whatever it may consist of (NOT secret handshakes or joining a harem). I am 47 years old

I was forced to go to church, and when I got to be 16, I refused to go anymore. As an adult with children, I made a few attempts to get with the program, but stopped completely about 5 years ago, and officially resigned 21 Jan. dodgegw@ldschurch.org My oldest son quit going about 5 years ago, and youngest last year, although they have been trying to pin him down for the "mission interv

I didn't watch, but my TBM grandmas always watches if it's BYU, and had to come into the kitchen to tell me about all the missionaries. OK, did some reading. I thought it was weird that the "mishies" would all be in thier white shirts instead of P day outfits. Oh, wait till I tell her.

My emailed letter simply stated that I was resigning. I didn't bother with why, or what exactly I wanted. Just resignation. Emailed on 21 January, received Come Back letter a week later, official Dodge letter received 18 February. I don't know why the admin doesn't make the email address a "sticky".

*ducks* sorry, I couldn't resist. I bought my little machine from Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Brother-LS2125I-Lightweight-10-Stitch-Machine/dp/B000EOX28E/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1298595257&sr=8-4 a couple of years ago. It has had a lot of use, mending clothes, sewing hems in pants, making LOTS of pillowcases for charity. It hasn't given me a bit of trouble, I just make sure to

Me too. No bolts of lightening, no black clouds. I'd frame mine, but I live with TBM grandmother (she's 89) and don't feel the need to discuss it with her, especially since it's partly due to her that I never believed all that crap. Best Wishes and Peace.
