I was once you. I had my doubts about the racism, sexual abuse, sexism, but I was in a relationship with a TBM. So I stuck it out for years. I'd stop by here and look at how cynical everybody acted/sounded when they lost their faith. Then I ran across some ideas here that made sense. FFwd 17years. Here I am. Still an exmormon, but not an atheist or a theist. I like Brian Greene's answer.

I like Brian Greene's answer. I probably agree with him more than anybody living. He's a genius. So is Michio Kaku. Sam Harris, And NdGT. I agree with all of them, And a bunch of dead wise men, Einstein, Hawking, Sagan and Epicurous. I am more of an Epicurean than anything. I think all of them were far ahead of their time, but especially Epicurious, who figured out non-determinist

I get accused of argument from authority, because I often refer to wise men, geniuses, like Einstein, Sagan, Hawking, Harris, Kaku who all agreed that they didn't know everything about Nature or where it came from, or if it is infinite. What use is a god if the universe is infinite? An eternal creator. Nature. https://youtu.be/dE3dqlFzDeg

C'est La Vie, no? Life goes on. I love Notre Dame and have visited numerous times, but, its not just a building, how could God stand by and just watch it burn? It's the classic problem of evil, right? If God is good, and has the power to stop evil, then why is there evil? Either A. God is not always good. B. God is not all powerful C. God is not all knowing. Or D. God (Mother

When I was an arrogant, self righteousness dick, (Typical Mormon Penisholder) I wrote to Kirby and his response back to me changed my life co.pletely. I wrote to him in response to an article he wrote about his daughter's recent marriage and how proud of her he was to see her surrounded by loving family and friends, who were NOT excluded for not being Mormon enough. I actually wrote to him an

It should be noted that “nones” or “religiously unaffiliated” is not a synonym for atheists. Nones may believe in a God but may not be in any formal religion. https://www.worldreligionnews.com/religion-news/survey-says-religious-nones-now-outnumber-evangelicals

I agree it's quite a logical leap to conclude that everybody who identifies as "None of the Above" when asked which religion they identify with, is an atheist. Also, there's no link to any study the guy is referencing. When I went to search for the study I couldn't find it on the study listed, GSS Data Explorer. I did find a news article that says "Nones are now as big as
