Bradley said: "The scientific method is gate-kept to a degree that Science is just as dogmatic as religion". I don't think this is true. Science is the study of reality, i.e. what really happens. The scientific method is a set of ways to avoid error (including self-induced and self-reinforced error). That's all. If science is dogmatic, then reality is dogmatic.

Henry, you have a ghawd-given talent for making everything boring. You make sweeping statements and impose requirements on others, while not really debating at all. There are many countries (including France where I live) which are not religious (or even anti-religious) but which still have a moral outlook. All you have to do is look.

They used to be able to. The book about Joe Jr's wives, In Sacred Loneliness, recounts quite a few occasions, including women speaking in tongues. I wonder when that changed?

I watch you all talking about moving vast distances to different climate zones and my thought is: THIS is one of the major things which the European Union also gives its citizens - and one of the things which Brexit has made very difficult for Brits... Unrelated but religiously-interesting anecdote: one of my best friends from Paris is actually an American who did 7 years of catholic seminary
