It must be a mormon thing. I had a friend for many years. Met her at church of course and she was lie a guide to me as a new member. We were very open in our conversations and she was not shy of expressing any ill feelings towards a bishop, stake presidency, church policy, etc. I knew how she felt about the church and many leaders but she was faithful because she believed it to be true.

In fact, I think that they take so much from members that they are then not only unable to give to other charities but end up receiving assistance from those charities because the LDS church is pretty stingy in helping.
