Cheers! Here is to someday a poster coming on here talking about his mission and how much he hated it. He tells a story that "one day a lady even sprayed me with a hose." The board is silent for a minute and then erupts with several simultaneous posts. We have all heard of him!

Wait, what? I don't know this! "how many Mormons know he gave up Mormonism to join the Methodists?" Is this true?

I don't remember exactly but know it was no older than seven. It was not voluntary. It was something I had to do loving in my parents' house. I think I stopped when I was 18 and had a real job. I moved out at 19.

I sat in the back row and goofed around each year. I never paid much attention to it. It was too long, we would pass notes and gossip so the memory is not too bad for me.

You are right. When I read this I was sick for the child. The shop owner is guilty only of being a nuisance. If the statue had been on the other side of the blue line the kid still could have toppled it. I try to teach my kids to fit into society not have society fit around them. I have a child that age. I would have been caring her. Kids are always doing stupid unpredictable stuff

I don't think this is the parents fault in anyway. The store ignored rules set by the city and this boy and his family payed the price. This makes me sick.

I am so grateful for the internet and not having to leave the cult until the late 90's. I admire anyone who had the nerve to leave before that.

I agree. The scary part is he probably thinks he is being noble.

Some people can make choices about how they want to behave and then behave that way. Needing The Spiritâ„¢ is a cop out for owning up to your own behavior.

I am a mother of a failed adoption. The guilt I feel is tremendous. I loved my adopted children the same as my others. It is a struggle to get through each day without them.

What I like least about my JackMo brother is that he believes all the pre 1978 racist bullsh**. I hate the racism aspect about the church but the members who believe the church and practice have let that part go (for the most part). Seems the Jacks are not up on the fact they were suppose to stop the "blacks are sinners from the preexistence."

Today my family spent the day in the park with my husband's brother and brother's wife. As we getting into the car some sister mishies called out to stop my husband and offered him a business card. My husband refused it saying, "no thanks." I couldn't help but yell out, "I am an apostate, don't worry I will tell them everything!" The look on their faces is something

I read the topic of this thread and I laughed out loud then I became angry. I think she should wear her bikini with a shirt over it. A white shirt, a garment top. ;) She should wear what ever she wants. Damn mormons trying to control everyone they can. Big deal if an eleven year old sees a bikini and finds it attractive. Sheesh!

I care greatly because I think this story was a big reason I revered that man. It was the single bit of information that cemented my young mind in the church. It is such a small story but it had such an effect on me.

This takes it to a whole new level. I don't understand how they can possibly think they can justify any editing now. Disgusting.

I don't like porn. I do like nude pictures, finding females to be more arousing. I don't like to see people "doing it." I think for me it is just too personal. Same as I wouldn't want to watch someone use the toilet. Watching penetration is an immediate turn off for me. There was a time when I had cinnemax. Late at night it would have shows that might be classified as soft

I won't be coming through at the right time for this one. Do you have any idea if/when there will be a July or August one? I'd like to stop by again.

As a kid my favorite TBM story was of young Joey needing surgery on his leg. It was infected and a doc needed to cut down into the bone or amputate. Joe did not want amputation. So the doc said he would try the risky procedure. He offered Joe some whisky for the pain but young Joe refused. "If you hold me Papa, I'll hold still." Joe doesn't even flinch in the operation, leg is

Maybe look at a month at a time and plan when his hobby days are and when family days are. It is not how many different hobbies he has but how much time he is away. That way when he wants to golf the next day it is something that has been discussed already and you are not the bad guy.
