Just wondering, did you have this arrogant view or you were just going through the motions as a missionary. Also, for those of you in poor, foreign countries, did you view the natives similar to Kipling's "white man's burden" where it was your moral obligation to save these heathen savages.

According to the LDS that I know, soon, LDS will have millions of converts in India, already millions in Subsaharan Africa and in no time with that new Temple in Italy, the Italians will dump their Pope for President Monson from Utah

www.cougarboard.com you just have to scan the postings every few days to see how racist and right wing the typical byu sports fan is. This is the lds main university for future leaders of the church so it tells me the rank and file lds are still lily white and uncomfortable with especially african americans unless they drink the byu kool aid

Every time i see the Y football team - i know they have a few blacks, it looks like they are 40 years behind the normal football teams that you see today. Does anyone know if Y intentionally segregates or are they afraid to recruit more blacks

Just wondering since they just announced a new Temple in Paris, I would think the French would be difficult to convert to a American centric religion that would force them to quit smoking, drinking wine/alcohol and coffee/tea. But then again, I may be wrong on this

My byu friends think it is about a $1 a month per dish tv subscriber which is split with dish network so if nationwide their are 10million dish tv subscribers, byu collects $5 million a month for its sports, is this correct

they are more hypocritical and not living the Gospel as MOs go around claiming. I observe lots of MOs and when I am around them, my criteria to detect how phony they are is by length of their grace or goofy prayer. Wanted y'all thoughts on this

I am around lots of phony white LDS here where I live. However, the LDS that seem genuine are the Polynesians or nonUtah LDS whenever I meet them. They do not seem to carry their religion on their sleeve and seem to be nice folks and do not seem judgemental or holier than thou. This is very antecdotal and not an official survey but just my opinion. The nonUtah LDS do not seem as Republican either

If they were, they would be convincing at least a hundred people in Europe, Australia and USA to convert in a two year mission. These are comments that you say to missionaries to get them tongue tied and they generally just say thanks and have a good day. When they come and ask you, do you want to learn about Jesus, you respond which Jesus - Jesus Ramirez, Jesus Gutierrez, Jesus Fuentes, et

I saw a post about the LDS not growing in Europe so was wondering if Italy had lots of growth is why the LDS are building a Temple there. An LDS friend of mine was bragging about the Italy Temple over the weekend and think the rank and file LDS has been told to believe that the LDS is growing in Italy and Europe.
