Nope - they know it's a fart. They keep it going because members wouldn't know what to do if they found out the church was a fraud and scam perpetrated by 3 guys, plus, you can't forget the billions of dollars in tithing money that go into their pockets.

Well, first off, when ranking the 3 BYUs: - BYU Idaho is the most Mormon of all the BYUs. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is always looking and judging you in whatever way they can. It's like everyone is in the Honor Code committee or something. - BYU Provo is less strict. - BYU Hawaii is more lax and much more bearable than both BYU Idaho and Provo.

I have a Mormon friend who shared with me that when he was visiting BYU, he saw people bully the guys that didn't serve missions. I have a friend who came home VERY early from his mission from depression and went to BYU and experienced rejection and shunning from other students that he transferred out the institution.

I've read many cases in which when the men leave, their wives divorce them and take the children. What would happen if a woman left the church while her TBM husband was still active in it?

SusieQ#1, how did you meet your TBM husband and what was your relationship like with your in-laws throughout the years?

I'm glad you brought this up because I need the link to the church library to read their essays. Idk if you guys know about the Youtuber, Ethan Hansen Efrog Industries, but I just watched one of his videos on May 13, 2017 with two missionaries and he brought a lot of stuff up and the church library. Apparently, LD$ Inc. published more 'anti-Mormon' literature than anyone else because they sim

I am glad I was not BIC and I am very happy that I do not live in the Mormon states either. You know what's funny? She got disfellowshiped and excommunicated so many times, they still allow her to work her way back into good standing which reinforces the idea that LD$ Inc just wants money and they have to brainwash their members to do it.

How many of you have ever dipped out in the middle or church service to get off in the restroom or pissed off your MP, the ward bishop or someone else? Maybe one of the bishopric counselors punched the bishop? Share your funny stories!

I would go to satisfy my curiosity. I'm thinking about touring the open houses for the new ones they are putting up in the U.S. in Idaho and Utah. And sunbeep, that would be a funny idea.

When I look at some of the interior of temples, it's disappointing at times because as "grand" as it's supposed to be, the furnishing looks boring. Does your TBM wife and daughter know you don't believe in the church? How many friends do you have that don't believe?

That was rude and offensive. They were saying something is wrong with your baby because something is wrong with you and your spouse for leaving the church. Like that has anything to do with delivering a healthy baby.

"My wife knows my views and that they would be scraping the bottom of the barrel, but I know she also secretly holds out hope for me - I keep having to correct her..." Mole Opportunity, you mean your DW actually knows what you really think about LD$ Inc.? Well, then, you are one fortunate guy. Most men's wives leave them.

Maybe they're making up stories to try to win more converts to the church. Other than that, I doubt they would allow Muslims to pray to Allah in the celestial room with their prayer rugs. Think about it: the celestial room and the temple on whole is strictly dedicated to the Heavenly Father of Mormonism. They wouldn't "share" it with someone else's "God." That would be sac

I'm not a parent, but I hope I can help in some way. First off, the church was all you knew growing up. Judging from your post, I can assume you live in a Mormon-populated state (correct me if I'm wrong). And congratulations on cutting ties with the "church." That being said, here is my advice for sex: "You're too young to understand what love is. It is a process that re

I would be upfront with your two youngest children. I feel sorry for your two oldest because they don't know what they'll lose themselves to by entering the cult. I honestly don't know what kind of advice to give you with your two eldest.
