Anyone here from St. George, Cedar or Enterprise area specifically? Sometimes I feel like I am the only exmo in this region, although I'm sure there are many others. Mostly just curious. As a fairly new resident from another part of the country I am adjusting and learning not to be shocked at anything these TBMs do, family or otherwise.

You will find a bunch of Ex/PostMormons in Southern Utah.

They will be meeting at the Lexington Hotel Sunday October 6th, 2 PM

They have a monthly lecture series- Fall, Winter and Spring.

He wrote the classic "The Keystone of Mormonism "

I think this is his group.

Yes, Arza is a past Chapter leader and still a avid supporter of the group and what a wonderful caring person.

Moved to Enterprise from St. George a couple of months ago. I don't mind it here, other than it is probably 90% ultra TBM. Church is EVERYTHING.

And that is good to know! I get back from my wedding open house (nevermo wife) the day before so ill try to make it!

I live in St. George.

It's actually a lot less Mormon than you think. You just have to know where to look and make sure to keep your eyes and ears open.

Welcome to the area :)

Still the only two bars in town ("One and Only" and "Firehouse") only serve 3.2% beer. I'd say St. George is about 70% LDS (this may be a little high). I'm finding a lot of non-mos where I work, which is a good thing.

That's because of the laws on opening a bar or business. Not Because there aren't enough people to frequent them.

There are quite a few nonmos and exmos. I'm glad you work with a bunch.

I wonder if those laws are the same reason I don't see any Christian bookstores in town. No, Seagull Books and Deseret Book are not Christian bookstores!

There are some Christian bookstores, I just can't remember their names. And they aren't out in the open like the others.
