which is often, I feel the urge to ask cheerily when they return home, "did you have fun chanting?"

Actually on one occasion before my tbm mother left for a session, I looked up the "secret" temple name for the day and told her to "Say hi to x for me." I made a similar comment when she returned and she was, needless to say, more than a little confused.
