I agree it's not a big deal to most people, but I think it will get some media coverage on the day, since there was quite a lot when the summons first got sent out.
+1, it makes no sense to say that while the initial summons generated a lot of press, the court date itself will be ignored. If the one attracted media attention, the other certainly will.
Hmmmm - if anyone is there perhaps they can suggest to reporters that the two cases share an important link: trucking vulnerable underage girls into sex. TM of course likely didn't do that, but he has certainly hidden from the world that JS did, even though it isn't listed as one of the 7 points in the trial documents. That info shattered my views of JS.
I have a feeling that 'he who must be obeyed' will send another - interesting if he does.
For what it is worth - a heinous character was hauled before the same court to appear today. We heard nothing about it until this morning. There's really nothing to report between the summons and tomorrow morning's proceedings so we'll have to wait and see.
If we get a slow news day then it is anyone's guess.

I'm curious what's involved in a UK hearing. I presume the allegations will be read and a plea entered. I assume defendant then rebuts the allegations (it being a foregone conclusion that LD$, Inc will plead not guilty). What happens after this? Does plaintiff get a chance to say anything in this proceeding? What options does DJ have? I can think of:
Dismisses the case on strength of defendant's arguments. Convenes another hearing after DJ does more research. Directs the case proceeds in Magistrates' Court. Recommends the case be pursued in Crown Court due to seriousness of the allegations which have withstood defendant's arguments.
Accurate input welcome.
