He refers to his wife as "elderly", and he hammers away about how it's the Lord's will that wisdom was imparted in senior citizens, and that by that they're the ones called to lead. I had an 87-year-old relative die earlier this year, and I wouldn't call him a man of "wisdom", and he was a longtime member of his church. People of any age can be geniuses or dumbasses.

And the irony of him bringing up the 60 Minutes interview of Uncle Gordie, conducted by a famous nevermo journalist who himself lived into his 90s. Isn't this the same interview where Gordie insisted, "We don't teach that"?

Guy actually looks 20-30 years younger than he is, he comes from an college atmosphere, and yet he's worried about old age!

Maybe he's tiring to justify all the old guys at the top of the heap.

Considering Bednar's probably made out of some type of plastic material, he will look the same 20, 30, even 40 years from now. So getting old probably isn't a concern.

His face IS uncommonly shiny. I do believe he is an android.

He looks like he's had a chemical peel from a dermatologist. That's the only thing I can think of that would make his skin look plastic-like.

& he does not look 20-30 years younger than his age. 8 years at the most.

If his wife looks her age, it's because of the hell he's put her through has aged her.

He also mentioned he was the "youngest" apostle when he was first appointed to the quorum. Like, so what? He's going to get old too.

Some of them get the notion that the younger they are when called, the likelier they'll be to become the prophet, eventually.

So that's his likely coveted position, assuming he can outlive all the other old blokes until he gets the appointment, er calling.
