He refers to his wife as "elderly", and he hammers away about how it's the Lord's will that wisdom was imparted in senior citizens, and that by that they're the ones called to lead. I had an 87-year-old relative die earlier this year, and I wouldn't call him a man of "wisdom", and he was a longtime member of his church. People of any age can be geniuses or dumbasses.
And the irony of him bringing up the 60 Minutes interview of Uncle Gordie, conducted by a famous nevermo journalist who himself lived into his 90s. Isn't this the same interview where Gordie insisted, "We don't teach that"?
Guy actually looks 20-30 years younger than he is, he comes from an college atmosphere, and yet he's worried about old age!
Considering Bednar's probably made out of some type of plastic material, he will look the same 20, 30, even 40 years from now. So getting old probably isn't a concern.
