In my TBM days I would have voted to wear garments on Sunday and to the temple. Beyond that, no need.

All I can say is that I'm so extremely happy I don't wear those hot, sweaty, skin itching, effing things anymore.

Freedom! Tank tops and shorter shorts in the summer, oh yeah!

One more comment:

Carnac The Magnificent predicts that TSCC will change garments again after a "revelation" is received (aka member input about garments).

Just like the changes in the temple post 1990.

Yep, gawd never changes his mind about anything. Oh wait a tick...

If Under Armour incorporated garments into their line it would be a blessing to hot sweaty mormons worldwide

The 24/7 temple garment is totally unnecessary. It needs to be removed for everyday/night wear. Totally. Gone.'
There is no need for it at all. I hope I live long enough to see it happen!

It is possible that it could be used as part of the temple rituals ,at a maximum. Those rituals need to be revamped also and stop making them so much like Masonic Rituals. The LDS Church is going to have to make some changes if it wants converts in this day and age. Most people today just won't put up with that nonsense in the name of religion.

20 years from now...

"Is it true that your church used to make members wear special undergarments..."

"I don't know that we ever taught that."

I am glad I never went through the temple. I would have hated having to wear garments. I know my dad doesn't wear them anymore, but my mom does even though she claims she doesn't believe in them, but wears them because "They are extremely comfortable" I don't believe that for a second. I think she is scared to take them off permanently.

I'm also glad I got out before going through the temple and having to wear garments. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a sensory issue with things like tags, and as a woman, I need cotton underwear so certain parts can breathe. To me, tagless underwear and other clothing is the best invention yet.

I found that if you gave "general feedback" you didn't have to put any tag information, so I also suggested that garments should only be worn on Sundays and inside the temple.
