Now I feel guilty. A TBM from my old ward ran into me recently and was uncharacteristically nice. She mentioned meeting my sister and asked if she still lived in a neighboring city. I spilled the beans and let her know the city where my sister now lives. I know that my sister will now get loved bombed and attacked by missionaries just as her daughter recently was.

Sorry Sis! Maybe it's time for you to officially resign so you can get these annoying TBM's off your back and you don't have to hide any more.

It's a shame that you have to think about such things, isn't it?

I wouldn't let it get you down. I moved several times after becoming completely inactive. I don't know how they did it, but after a few months they always seem to find me.

I never got them off my back until I officially resigned. They have never bothered me since.

The fault lies with the predatory practices of TSCC and its members.

Around "normal" people, you did nothing wrong. Around "normal" people, what you did would not have caused any issues for your sister.
