Bundy derived pleasure from inflicting pain, not from voyeurism. Blaming voyeurism was a feeble attempt to deflect responsibility.
He was attempting to call the "moral majority" to his defence, in his "victimization" as a "boy." They've been quoting the Book of Bundy ever since.
He was a master of deception, yet these - ignoramuses - take him at his word.
He was so adroit in his deceptions that he was actually married during his murder trial, while questioning his witness/bride, and even as the judge sentenced him to death, he told Bundy he would have loved to have had Bundy practice law in his courtroom, "Pard'ner."
Deception was the method he chose to capture his victims.
He even tried to delay and avoid his own execution by offering the locations of more bodies in exchange for more time.
Disgusting.

Also, fun fact: my first church job was at First United Methodist in Tacoma, where Ted Bundy's mother, Louise Cowell, met his stepfather John Bundy. She was still attending there when I worked there as an undergrad.
Twice in his life Ted Bundy had ALL his possessions searched. Neither time did they find any actual porn. Remember, this was back when the only way to get porn was actual hard-copy.

This is what you call a symbiotic relationship. Bundy is trying to project an image of "I'm not really a bad guy", and a filmmaker is exploiting the ego trip of madman for his own agenda.
Edit: BTW, if Bundy had miraculously developed a conscience, wouldn't he be apologizing for the massive pain he inflicted on the families of his victims rather than going through this pathetic attempt at portraying himself as a victim? He squandered his one last opportunity to give something by taking sympathy by deceit. A taker to the end.
