Have you noticed how much of a TBM's FB page is filled with LDS glurge?

I got a friend request from a mission buddy, so I was looking over his page. He only posts 2-3 times a week, but half his posts are Mormon related: GA talks, feel good stories from the Deseret News or other church publications, quotes from church leaders, etc.

Unlike many, he didn't post any antigay or other judgmental posts, but his entire life per FB seems to be wrapped up in Mormonism.

As I transitioned out my TBM family made tons of Mormony posts. I'm not sure if the posts were intended for me or if leaving just made me acutely aware of the depth of their involvement.

It's a big circle jerk. One TBM posts a stupid church article, all the others "Like" it, a chunk of them repost it, and soon you're looking at a list of TSCC propaganda a mile long.

Moral of the story?...don't be friends with TBM's on Facebook.

^This is as good as: "Never do business with a Mormon".

I only have a handful of FB TBM friends, and I've unfollowed most of them. That way I can contact them when I need to, but I don't have to read their glurge.

You can block certain posts in your feed. Just click the down arrow and select that you don't want to see posts like that.
