Recently, I've been watching episodes of the 80s series, Fame. It helps me forget about the traumas of today. Yesterday, I was traumatized anew when I caught one of Jimmy Osmond's two episodes in which he plays a young man who is educationally disabled, yet brilliantly talented in music.

It occurs to me that this storyline might offend people today. I still kind of miss cheesy shows like Fame, even if the dance numbers make me cringe.
