What about handicapped people who can't move away from their parents?

If a child must move away from his parents after age 18 to be baptized, what if he can't because he is handicapped in some way? Even the children who do have the ability to move away and support themselves financially are in danger, because what if they suddenly become disabled? The child must get baptized as soon as possible to prepare for this possibility. If the child decides until age 25 to be baptized, and he becomes permanently disabled from a car accident at age 24, and has to live with his gay parents indefinitely, he will never be able to be baptized.

The only thing that would matter is if the handicapped person had money to give. It would be decided based on that.

On one hand, they claim that someone with such a severe handicap doesn't need to be baptized, unless a bishop says that the reason the person is severely disabled is to punish the gay parents.
