Sad truth is I kinda had a bit of a exmo crush on her after reading the book. She adorable if not infuriating in her book. And I am old enough to be her father....if I had her when I was 15 or so.

Sounds like her family does OK but she grew up in Spain and Pacific NW— and her time on New York was school and working to make it as a writer.

Mormon expression podcast had a good interview with the Author about the book

I started it; got about half way through before I donated it to the local library.

This young woman desperately wants to be funny....but she came across (to me) as really heavy handed and unfunny.
