I, my husband and our three kids who are still living at home submitted our resignations through the attorney who is doing them for free :)

We will be talking to our two kids who are attending colleges out of state.

One is a RM and until this past year, we were pretty sure she was quite indoctrinated. She is attending school in UT, but not at BYU. She has been home from her mission for 2 years and is not married nor seriously dating anyone...putting her education before that. This past year she has interned at a non-profit that is not connected to TSCC and has seen how non-charitable morms can be...she also more colorful language, likes coffee and when she visited last, she asked to taste my wine :)

Our other out of state child attends school in CO. He is not a RM and was not active in the church until going away to college and started dating a mormon girl...who, as predicted by me, broke up with him and is following the counsel of her bishop and parents and is moving to UT to find a good worthy RM to marry.

We'll see how it goes with those two.

I became inactive in 2004/2005. Hubby and all but our oldest became inactive the end of 2009 when we moved to another state, but it still took a couple years after that to open my husbands mind...he has ancestors from the founding of the church and his father's entire career was working for CES. Luckily, he always had feelings that something was not quite right and that he didn't quite fit in with mormonism.

I hope your wife and kids someday realize what TSCC is really doing to families.

Update: Just got our confirmation emails from him that our resignations were submitted to the church today! So it looks like it took him about 10 business days to get them reviewed and sent in. Now we just see how the morg takes to process them...It says 7-21 days.

A positive at "righteous" people leaving is that they have large families to leave with them, that is a huge deficit over two or three generations.
