The post I wrote to help ziller's nephew was very specific to the current unstable circumstances in Ukraine.
I could write a new post which would be more generalized to apply to international missionary destinations as a whole, with brief info on how to access US State Department travel warnings...a capsule explanation of what a consulate is and why the consulates are so VERY important to missionaries...the difference between a US "embassy" and a US "consulate"...and how to access the specific website of the US State Department which applies to the country the missionary is headed for.
If I did this, I would very much appreciate a list of the non-North American countries missionaries are sent to. What I would be looking for would be exceptions to the general "rules" (as I consider Ukraine to be; I cannot imagine why missionaries are being sent to a country which could be militarily invaded at any moment). If there are any more "Ukraines" on that list of missionary destinations, I would appreciate a heads up on them.
Thanks, dp!!!
