Edit: My bad. It was the Hughes I saw and not the Duttons. The Hughes are all Mormon and they said they were during the show to explain an absentee family member on a mission. And they all moved from Utah to Branson.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs2AguRUr_gI saw them live in Independence, Missouri on The Fourth of July. Great show. One thing did disturb me though. One family has like 16 kids. I didn't think that was all that and then there was the other thing. I noticed how when the children weren't performing it was obviously the older children's duty to chase around the younger children.
Grandma sat with the sound and lights guy the whole time and I didn't see her do anything other than talk to people. She is the boss but there were long stretches where she was only watching with us all the kids running around the stage constructed for them.
And no adult ever appeared. Kids run the two purchasing tables and grandma helped out with one of those before, during intermission and after their show.
It was a great show and very entertaining but the big family thing and the obvious signs of kids taking care of themselves was not pleasant.
