Prophets book

I dont understand why prophets sell their books. Monsons "listen to a Prophets voice" $36
He gets $120,000 in speaking fees already

That's why.

Of that $36 retail price, $20 or so probably goes right into the church's coffers.
Monson probably gets $5 or so from each one. Deseret book takes the remaining $11, minus production costs.
